Behind every successful and smoothly run camp season is a dedicated administrative team committed to creating the best possible experience for campers and families alike. Our administrative staff brings together experience, expertise, and a true passion for summer programming that is safe, enriching, and fun for every child.
Jessica stepped into the role of Camp Director in 2019, bringing with her over a decade of diverse experience within the Old Trail School community. Her deep-rooted connection to OTS and her commitment to creating a safe, fun, and innovative camp environment have helped Summer at Old Trail become a cherished experience for many families. Jessica’s curious and creative approach shines through in her camp programming, where she prioritizes opportunities for children to discover new interests, build confidence, and develop friendships in a supportive setting.
One of Jessica’s core beliefs is that summer camp is an ideal time for children to step outside their comfort zones and try new things. She leads by example—embracing new challenges herself, like learning horseback riding as an adult. Her adventurous spirit now includes Joker, her very own horse, symbolizing her commitment to lifelong learning and exploration. This year, Jessica is thrilled to welcome returning and new campers alike, ready to guide them through their own summer adventures and see what amazing new experiences await!
This summer marks Ashley's third year as Assistant Camp Director, a role in which she brings enthusiasm, experience and a commitment to creating a memorable summer for each camper. Prior to stepping into this leadership position, Ashley spent several years as a camp instructor at Summer at Old Trail, where she discovered her love for guiding young learners through exploration and play.
In 2022, Ashley expanded her impact at Old Trail by joining the school faculty full-time as a Kindergarten Assistant and Literacy Specialist. She now teaches Junior Kindergarten, where her nurturing approach and expertise in early childhood education contribute to each child's sense of wonder and learning. Ashley is a devoted advocate for Old Trail’s mission, and she takes great pride in being part of the magical environment that makes Old Trail special for students and campers alike. Her energy, warmth, and dedication to young children make her an integral part of both the summer and school-year communities.
